Restorative Conferencing: Seattle Winter 2020

In this section we will develop skills around multi-author conferences and restorative conferences.  We will explore the role of authors, victims, support persons, community members, and facilitators.

Weekly assigned readings are given on the week prior to our conference call with participants. This call is an opportunity to review the assignment, ask questions, and discuss real-world implementation. Each phone session is facilitated by two experienced practitioners as well as guest instructors and youth participants.  You will be provided access to our LMS at Nationalcenterforrestorativejustice.instructure.com. We love that you’re able to engage with our amazing instructors and peers doing this work across the region.

Weeks 5 and 10 incorporate our full day hands on workshop. In this setting, students will have a chance to practice new techniques, role-play real world scenarios, and network with other professionals in this exciting field.
