Restorative Conferencing: Seattle Fall 2019


Restorative Justice 201.  In this section we will develop skills around multi-author conferences and restorative conferences.  We will explore the role of authors, victims, support persons, community members, and facilitators.

When you register you will be given access to our online platform. In this platform you will receive our assignments and access to our webinars. You will find both thought provoking readings and practical tools that you will take back with you to your setting.

Weekly assignments are provided a week before the scheduled conference call and are due for review during the conference call with course participants. This call is an opportunity to review the assignment, ask questions, and discuss real-world implementation. Each phone session is facilitated by two experienced practitioners as well as guest instructors and youth participants.  

Week 5 and week 10 incorporate our full day hands on workshop. In this setting, participant will have a chance to practice new techniques, role-play real world scenarios, and network with other professionals in this exciting field.
